Hemp & Cotton Worsted - 8 oz cone - Natural. This Hemp Cotton yarn is excellent weaving yarn (warp or weft), Hemp fiber obtained from the bast of the Cannabis sativa plant, and belongs to the group of fiber family that also includes flax, jute, ramie, nettle and kenaf. Hemp will be a bit stiff at first and that’s why we have developed this 50,50 hemp/cotton version so it becomes softer!
Hemp is environmentally friendly in many ways. Hemp grows well without the need for chemicals – Hemp is an extremely eco-friendly resource.
Excellent for place mats, table runner, pillows, etc. Washes easily. Hemp yarn softens upon repeated washings.
