Classes

The following classes are offered on a one-on-one basis, but two or more people may take a class at the same time.

BEGINNING WEAVING I (Click for Photographs)
Learn the basics of how to set up a loom including how to wind a warp, thread a loom and weave a simple project. Allow aproximately 2 classes at 3 hours each for loom set up. Allow additional time for weaving, hours based on project.
Cost $150 + materials

BEGINNING WEAVING II
Choose a second project that you take from start to finish under supervision. Class time determined by project.
Cost $75 + materials

WEAVING ON A RIGID HEDDLE LOOM
Classes available on basic setup and beginning to weave,
finger manipulated lace weaves, and basic pickup techniques
Cost $25 per hour + any materials required

REFRESHER COURSE
For those who haven’t woven for a while and just need to go over things again.
Cost $50

INDIVIDUALIZED
Weaving Instruction to fit your needs @ $25/hour

TAPESTRY: The Basics
Weave a small tapestry to sample some of the most commonly used joins in this form of weaving.
Appropriate yarns and looms for future projects will be discussed.
You may bring your own tapestry loom or use one of my board looms.
Cost $75 + materials
